We just spent a week at Eagle Lake Island Lodge, and it will be hard to find a better place. Adam and his entire team go out of their way to make sure guests have everything they need during their stay. Our guides, Cooper and Mitch, were exceptional. Their attention to detail and knowledge of fish patterns on the lake were impressive, and they worked hard every day to put us on fish. They also prepared excellent shore lunches for us, which were a highlight of every outing. The food at the lodge was excellent, and the cabins were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The only area for improvement is the bar service. On a few occasions, during bar hours, no one was available for 10 to 15 minutes to serve us. That said, it was a minor detail in an otherwise exceptional experience. Eagle Lake Island Lodge is a true gem, and it will be hard for us not to return.

Great place for a fishing trip. The cabins are top-notch, the service is excellent, everything is taken care of so you can focus on fishing. Cole, one of the guides, was fantastic. He put us on fish and prepared a shore lunch for us. Breakfast and dinner are served at the main lodge, and boxed lunches are provided if you don't plan on having a shore lunch with a guide. Highly recommend.

We have been staying at Eagle Lake Island Lodge since 2021. At first, we went once a year, now it's twice. Two signs that prove it is an exceptional lodge: repeat guests and staff longevity (especially considering it is a seasonal operation). The boats are equipped with a livewell, a trolling motor with spot-lock function, and a Humminbird fish finder; you have your boat for the entire duration of your stay, so you don't need to pack up your fishing gear every night. Three quality meals are served daily (full breakfasts; boxed lunch (a shore lunch); hearty dinners (steak, ribs, lasagna)); bar, pool table, shuffleboard, and outdoor campfire. The comfortable cabins are heated by a wood stove and include a living room, table and chairs, coffee maker, fridge, and porch. The dock staff cleans, vacuum-seals, freezes, and labels your fish so you can take it home; a day with a guide is included. Char and Jim look after every detail with a smile.

We returned to Eagle Lake last September for our second stay and were won over by the atmosphere, the cabins, and the layout of the island camp. I was skeptical about fishing from an island, but I quickly realized this place had everything to offer passionate anglers. Within a few days, some of us were already on the trophy board, having brought in magnificent specimens. We fish for muskie every day, from morning till night, and the location on Eagle Lake offers access to a vast body of water; you never run out of fishing spots. Char and Jim have truly created a family atmosphere where you get to know the staff. The camaraderie among guests is a highlight, and the lodge is designed to spend the evening sharing fishing stories and exchanging tips with the guides and staff to get ready for the next day. Here, the attention to detail is remarkable, and the service is warm and friendly. The guides are excellent and help you improve. The food and service are exceptional. What can I say? It was the best fishing trip I've ever taken! The fishing was great, the weather was perfect, and Canada, as always, was beautiful. But what really made this experience unforgettable was the warm welcome from the staff at Eagle Lake Island Lodge. Jim and Charlene are exceptional people who have created a unique atmosphere, incomparable to any of the other lodges we've visited. With the late ice-out and high water levels on Eagle Lake this year, they had little time to prepare for guests arriving, but they rose to the challenge brilliantly. Their staff is simply outstanding. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The food, fishing, guides, and sunsets at Eagle Lake Island Lodge were simply spectacular. I went with five friends from my family, and we haven't stopped talking about this wonderful stay. Our cabin was beautiful, with the lake right behind it. The whole group can't wait to go back. If you're looking for a five-star fishing experience, this is the place.
