Located on the shores of Eagle Lake in Northwestern Ontario, Eagle Lake Traditions outfitter offers a historic setting on a lake renowned for fishing and hunting. Formerly known as Evergreen Lodge since its construction in 1932, the property was taken over by a group of shareholders who have brought modern improvements while preserving its authenticity. The site offers accommodation in restored traditional log cabins, combining rustic northern charm with contemporary comfort. smallmouth bass, lake trout, and muskellunge—an iconic fish for which a record specimen of 61 pounds and 9 ounces was once caught on this lake. The boats provided are adapted for multi-species fishing and equipped with GPS units and depth sounders. The best reefs, bays, and fishing structures are found in the immediate vicinity of the dock. Fishing guide services are also available upon prior request. In addition to fishing, Eagle Lake Traditions welcomes hunters during the fall season. The surrounding territory is home to white-tailed deer, black bear, and ruffed grouse. The facilities include spaces designed for storing hunting gear and equipment, with hunters responsible for ensuring compliance with Ontario permits and regulations. Stays are primarily organized around seven-night packages from Saturday to Saturday, as well as shorter four-night stays, spanning from June to November.
