Located on Upper Manitou Lake in Ontario, Green Island Lodge offers a fly-in fishing experience in the heart of a 32,000-acre wilderness territory characterized by granite rocky shores, numerous bays, and islands. The main lake also provides access to seven portage lakes for catching muskellunge, northern pike, walleye, lake trout, and smallmouth bass. The main lodge operates on a full-service American Plan. Accommodations include a main lodge and private cabins nestled among tall red pines at the edge of a bay. The outfitter provides on-site cooked meals, shore lunch preparations, and boats with motors. and those wishing to be accompanied by fishing guides. The main site infrastructure can accommodate groups, family reunions, or corporate retreats for up to 28 people. Black bear hunting is also offered on the territory. In addition to the main lodge, the Rusty Myers remote outpost network provides access to ten isolated lakes ranging from 1,000 to 26,000 acres. These self-contained cabins, which can house up to 8 people, feature solar lighting, hot and cold running water, propane stoves, two refrigerators, a screened-in porch, and a deck. All food is provided by the outfitter for these satellite camp stays.
