Located in the Rainy River District of Northwestern Ontario near Mine Centre, Little Turtle Lodge is an intimate, boat-in resort. As the only resort on Little Turtle Lake, the lodge guarantees a peaceful stay away from the crowds. After serving as a private camp for 18 years, the site reopened in 2011 to welcome fishing and outdoor enthusiasts. The body of water spans over 6,000 acres in the heart of the Canadian Shield, including three rivers, 88 miles of shoreline, and numerous islands to explore. Anglers target Walleye, Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, and trophy-sized Smallmouth Bass. Lake Sturgeon are also

occasionally caught here. Accommodations consist of four cabins named after local aquatic species: the Small Mouth Bass Cottage, the Walleye Cottage, the Musky Cottage, and the Pike Cottage. Each cottage offers shoreline views and is adapted to the size of the group. Fishing packages include cabin accommodations, a boat and motor, fuel, and bait. On-site, visitors can relax on a natural sandy beach, take a boat to visit secluded beaches, admire the sunsets, or observe the surrounding wildlife, including loons and bald eagles.
