The outfitter
Located in Northwestern Ontario, North Caribou Camps provides direct access to North Caribou Lake, a vast body of water covering approximately 81,000 acres and measuring 15 miles by 25 miles. This territory is characterized by a great diversity of aquatic structures, including numerous islands, reefs, sandbars, weedy bays, as well as river inlets and outlets. Fishing here focuses on trophy northern pike, with specimens regularly measuring between 40 and 50 inches, and walleye that can reach nearly 10 pounds. To preserve the aquatic wildlife of this Arctic watershed, a strict mandatory catch-and-release policy is enforced for all trophy fish. Angling

tips and specific lure suggestions (spoons, crankbaits, jigs, and flies) are available to guests based on their target species. In addition to fishing, the territory offers archery and crossbow hunting trips for black bear and moose under the Bear Creek Outfitters banner. These hunting activities rely on a network of bait sites spread across vast areas, with a limited number of hunters hosted each week. Hosting and trip management are overseen by Dusty Brodhagen along with Rob and Sandy.
