Perch Bay Resort is located along the shores of the Winnipeg River, in the immediate vicinity of downtown Kenora, in Ontario's Sunset Country. Originally founded with two cabins by bush pilots Mona and Julius, the estate has grown through the generations. Notably, the former airplane hangar has been transformed into a warm and welcoming main lodge. The resort offers 18 cabins in various configurations, including the Dockside, Beachfront, Harbour, and Dam View cabins, as well as the Tunnel Island suites. Facilities include marina services, a fuel station, a convenience store, laundry facilities, equipment rentals, a beach, and a children's playground. The site also offers accessible amenities, including access ramps for the dock and the lodge, as well as designated parking. Regarding activities, the site serves as an all-season base. Fishing on the Winnipeg River allows for targeting walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, and muskellunge. Hiking trails wind around the shores of Lake of the Woods, ranging from waterfront boardwalks to steeper lookout points. In winter, the resort welcomes snowmobile enthusiasts. The lodge and estate also host weddings, meetings, and group events.
