experience focused mainly on walleye and northern pike. Zone regulations allow anglers to keep walleye over 53 cm. The outfitter is the only one operating on the entire lake, providing great peace and quiet for fishermen. Access to the body of water is very easy via a well-maintained 10 km gravel road from kilometer 191 on Route 167 North. On site, a boat launch accommodates large boats, and new docks with electricity are set up along the waterfront chalets. The outfitter also offers 14-foot aluminum boats equipped with new 15 hp 4-stroke Mercury engines. A fully screened fish cleaning station with running water, stainless steel counters, and electric freezers is located near the docks to facilitate catch preparation.

Take Route 167 North (toward Chibougamau) to km 191, then turn left and follow the outfitter's signs: the outfitter is 10 km along a maintained gravel road off Route 167 North, accessible by car. Boat launch ramp suited to large boats. Coming from the south via Lac-Saint-Jean, fill up on gas at La Doré — there is no gas station for about 200 km. Grocery store, SAQ and gas dépanneur 35 minutes away.

Pourvoirie du lac Obatogamau stands as the only outfitter established on the shores of Lake Obatogamau, a vast 76 km² body of water home to more than 100 islands in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region. The establishment underwent a significant turning point in 2022 with the arrival of a new administration and management team. Starting in 2022, major development and modernization projects were launched on the territory. The outfitter built three luxury cottages equipped with air conditioning and full bathrooms, diversifying its lodging options. Très belle endroit ! Les chalets sont propre le bloc sanitaire aussi , le quai illuminé est super pratique pour le retour de pêche du soir. Sincèrement rien a dire de négatif. Le service est hors paire. 👌🏼 belle pêche de doré et de brochet. Ya même un endroit pour la préparation des poissons .
