The offering is centered around a 4-star main lodge and several independent cabins, including Le Marguerite, Camp L'Eaudrée, and Le Petit Bleuet. To facilitate travel to this remote sector of the Mauricie region, the establishment built its own aviation infrastructure with a private airport identified under the code CGN2. Pourvoirie Escapade is established in the heart of the majestic Canadian boreal forest, on the vast territory of the Gouin Reservoir in Quebec. This wild and peaceful environment is characterized by hundreds of kilometers of shorelines made up of a multitude of bays and coves offering ideal bottom structures for aquatic wildlife. The aquatic environment is home to significant populations of walleye and northern pike. Early in the season, pike are in their post-spawn period in shallow areas and react particularly well to spoons cast into the bays. Later in the season, the development of aquatic vegetation favors the use
of surface lures to trigger pike strikes. Walleye, meanwhile, gather at various depths along rocky shoals and structural drop-offs. Jigging and trolling prove to be very productive methods for catching walleye. In addition to the Gouin Reservoir's fishery resources, the surrounding forest territory hosts a diverse range of northern wildlife. During stays within this natural space, visitors can observe several emblematic species of the boreal environment, including moose, black bear, and otter.
Pourvoirie Escapade offers a range of activities focused on fishing, hunting, and winter vacations at the Gouin Reservoir. J'ai adoré. Bel accueil, bon service. Chaloupes et moteur neuf à notre disposition, chalet bois rond très confo, Frigo, fourneau gas, cafetière, vaisselle etc. Wi-Fi, ( à l'accueil seulement). Je recommande le guide Maxime. Il nous a emmener là où ça mord et appris des méthodes de pêche efficaces. J'ai passé par St Michel des Saints Rte 125 et 131, ERREUR A NE PAS FAIRE. Revenu par LaTuque, très bien. Beaucoup d'avions et Hélicos sont arrêtés pêché 1 journée ou 2. J'ai adoré mon séjour.
