In the heart of the Gouin Reservoir, in the Haute-Mauricie, Pourvoirie Oasis du Gouin sits on a 42 km² island at the junction of Chapman Bay and Marmette Bay. Located right on the spawning grounds, it is known for walleye fishing (specimens over 5 lb) and northern pike (over 15 lb), among the best fishing spots in Quebec. You reach it by road to the Oasis pier, then a roughly 10-minute taxi-boat (floatplane access is also possible). Lodging is in wood cabins isolated from one another, with a capacity of 2 to 6 people each, plus a large cottage (Lodge)

Spending a week at this place is magical, the owners are just incredible, everything they do so that you feel comfortable. They give their body and soul. Very clean cabin.
