The outfitter

Pourvoirie Lac Sauterelle, run by the family-owned Air Tamarac, sits on a 60 km² exclusive-rights territory in the Haute-Mauricie, reachable only by floatplane after a 35-minute flight from Ste-Anne-du-Lac. Known for native brook trout fishing among the best preserved in Quebec, Lac Sauterelle (5 km long) gives access, via maintained trails, to about ten satellite lakes each stocked with a boat. In the fall the same territory becomes an exclusive-rights moose-hunting ground, split into 4 sectors of more than 10 km² (one moose per sector per week).
