Pourvoirie Lac Sauterelle, run by the family-owned Air Tamarac, sits on a 60 km² exclusive-rights territory in the Haute-Mauricie, reachable only by floatplane after a 35-minute flight from Ste-Anne-du-Lac. Known for native brook trout fishing among the best preserved in Quebec, Lac Sauterelle (5 km long) gives access, via maintained trails, to about ten satellite lakes each stocked with a boat. Its story

Pourvoirie Air Tamarac was founded in 1968 by Jacques R. Bérubé in Clova. In 1994, the company was acquired by Éliane Bédard and Jean Blanchard. Over the years, the owners expanded the floatplane fleet and doubled the number of cottages, reaching a major milestone in 2017 with the acquisition of Air Melançon, including its Sainte-Anne-du-Lac base and the Lac-de-la-Sauterelle outfitter. In 2024, after 30 years of management by Éliane and Jean, new co-owners joined the AIR TAMARAC group: Charlotte Morrissette, Louis Blanchard, and Robin Blanchard.
