The outfitter offers a remarkable fishing experience for walleye, northern pike, lake trout, and bass across a network of 13 lakes preserved from fishing pressure. Packages include a hot breakfast prepared in the historic 1940s lodge, shore lunch kits, and boats equipped with 15 HP motors.

Territory and geography

Located in Northwest Ontario's Sunset Country, Tang of the North Lodge is situated in a protected bay on the shores of Lawrence Lake. This wilderness territory is part of the Ontario Living Legacy protected area, prohibiting all future development. The lodge is the only tourist establishment on the 13 accessible lakes in the sector (8 connected lakes and 5 portage lakes). The landscape is characterized by tall pine forests, islands, rocky cliffs, and deep-water areas reaching 300 feet. Access to this remote territory is by floatplane only.
