Located on a remote island on Rowan Lake, near Nestor Falls in Ontario's Sunset Country, Wilderness Fishing Oasis offers a fly-in wilderness fishing experience. Hosted by Dean and Tammy, visitors discover a pristine environment, free from road traffic and crowds. Rowan Lake features a diverse aquatic network of islands, reefs, weedy bays, and deep structures that harbor trophy fish populations. Anglers can target muskie in the weed bays, lake trout in deep water, smallmouth bass along rocky shorelines, largemouth bass, walleye around the reefs, and northern pike. 16-foot Alumacraft boats equipped with 20-hp motors are provided at the dock in a sheltered bay. The camp features five lakefront cabins, accommodating 3 to 8 people depending on the layout. Three cabins are equipped with private bathrooms, while two units have access to nearby shower houses. Each accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor BBQ, an indoor wood stove, as well as linens and towels. Freezers and ice are provided for preserving your catch. A hot breakfast is served every morning at the main lodge, and a communal outdoor fire pit is set up along the water's edge.
