Very well-maintained camp, excellent and friendly operators, modern and well-maintained fleet, spacious, clean, and well-equipped cabins, secluded location with access to miles of waterways, exotic portage lakes easily accessible with boats provided. This was my first trip to Woman River. I have been to Canada many times with my son. It was also the first time we brought my grandson, who was only seven years old. I was afraid he wouldn't be able to catch any fish. On the first day, we took a guide, Rick, who took my grandson under his wing and, within minutes, he caught a nice walleye jigging, a technique he had never used before! My grandson ended up catching more fish than my son and me. He had a wonderful time. Paul and his wife were very welcoming and kind, and they answered all our questions and concerns. We will definitely go back.

We have been fishing on the Woman River and staying at Woman River Camp since 2001. The fishing there is exceptional. The boats and motors are always in top shape. The camp gets better year after year thanks to the constant efforts of Paul and Deb. The cabins are clean and comfortable. It is as remote as it gets, while still being drive-in right up to your cabin. I highly recommend.

A fantastic fishing trip! Paul and Debby offer an unforgettable wilderness fishing experience. The camp cabins are immaculate, clean, and comfortable. The boats and motors ran like a dream all week, and the camp is extremely well maintained. Paul's deep knowledge of the Woman River and its wildlife is a valuable and appreciated asset (as are the gas fryers made available after each fishing outing). We caught (and released) nearly 300 fish during our stay. The drive from International Falls is completely reasonable for such a fabulous fishing adventure!
