From Rouyn-Noranda, follow Route 117 North ('Mont-Chaudron Route') for about 22 km past Arntfield, then take the 'chemin du Lac Labyrinthe' gravel road (marked by a 'Labyrinth Resources' sign). Drive about 19 km on this gravel road, staying on the main road; follow the 'Mike's Outfitter' signs at the two 'Y' intersections (keep right), then turn right at the last sign and drive 3 km to the site. From Ontario, the area is reached via Route 66 East and Cheminis Road (last gas station at Larder Lake, Ontario, before the gravel road). Secure parking for truck and trailer on site.

Mike's Driftwood Outfitters is a family-run outfitter in northwestern Quebec's Abitibi-Témiscamingue region, set on Lake and River Dasserat (3rd Lake – Kanasuta), in zone 13. Across hundreds of square kilometres of public and leased land, the territory offers spring black bear hunting (over baited sites, by bow or rifle; bears averaging 175-200 lb), fall moose hunting (guided or self-guided, during the rut), small game hunting (ruffed grouse/partridge and hare) and winter wolf hunting. On the fishing side, the network of lakes and rivers teems with walleye, pike, smallmouth bass, perch and whitefish, with guided trophy catch-and-release trips to remote lakes.

Un grand merci à Mike’s Outfitter pour leur accueil hier soir ! Mike et Johanna, les propriétaires, ont été d'une gentillesse et d'une générosité exceptionnelles, partageant avec nous l'histoire et leurs connaissances sur l'équipement de plein air au Québec. Leur centre de villégiature est absolument magnifique, leur hospitalité hors pair et j'ai encore mal au ventre à force de rire 💖 J'ai bombardé Mike de questions et il a été formidable (et très patient) en répondant à chacune d'entre elles 🙏 Vous êtes géniaux ! 💕💞

On peut réserver un chalet ou plusieurs on peut utiliser les chaloupe pour un modeste prix il y a des génératrices pour l'électricité le soir il y a aussi un sauna et une place pour arranger les poissons et c'est un beau coin paradisiaque où l'on peut déconnecté de la vie de tous les jours et ça vaut la peine d'y aller car il y a la pêche et la chasse à l'ours j'ai vraiment aimé ce beau p'tit coin de paradis
