Located in the magnificent Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region, it is accessible via a 36 km forest road from the municipality of La Doré, at kilometer 36 of Chemin de la Branche Ouest. This protected natural setting is defined by vast wooded areas crisscrossed with trails, as well as a hydrographic network that includes 135 lakes, 2 rivers, and many streams. Among the bodies of water on the territory are Lac Giroux, Lac Antoine, Lac de l'Épaule, and Lac Martin. Territory development is based on responsible wildlife management, incorporating rest periods and rotating hunting areas to help ensure the long-term sustainability of animal populations. The forest canopy shelters a diverse range of land wildlife, highlighted by a well-established moose

Remarquable pourvoirie ou nous avons passé avec mon fils un séjour d'une semaine pleine d'émotions. Un patron (Stéphane) chaleureux, attentif, extrêmement compétent dans son domaine et dont il convient d'écouter les avis éclairés. Beaucoup d'ours mais prudents et farouches... Ca se mérite ! "il ne faut pas vendre la peau de l'ours avant de l'avoir tué" proverbe on ne peut plus vrai ! Lacs enchanteurs pour prélever quelques saumons de fontaine délicieux. Chalets confortables. Cuisine de qualité ! Parfait !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette pourvoirie. Tout s’est très bien déroulé du début à la fin. L’accueil était chaleureux, l’organisation était impeccable et les installations en accords avec nos attentes. La cuisine était plutôt bonne. Le patrons et son équipe sont à l’écoute et vous mettent dans les meilleures conditions possible pour que votre séjour se passe au mieux. Les territoires de chasse et les sites de pêche sont magnifiques et très bien entretenus. Nous avons vécu une expérience inoubliable dans un cadre exceptionnel. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour leur professionnalisme et leur gentillesse. Nous recommandons cette pourvoirie sans hésitation et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Grâce aux précieux conseils de l'agence Sable Safari, j'ai pu effectué un séjour de chasse et de pêche au mois de juin à la Pourvoirie de la Doré, et ce fut une expérience exceptionnelle. Le territoire est magnifique, sauvage et préservé, avec une faune naturelle abondante et un cadre absolument splendide. Que ce soit pour la chasse ou la pêche, les conditions sont réunies pour vivre des moments inoubliables au cœur de la nature québécoise. Tout au long du séjour, j'ai été impressionné par la qualité de l'accueil, de l'organisation et des prestations proposées. La logistique est parfaitement maîtrisée et les chalets sont confortables, très propres et idéalement situés avec une superbe vue sur le lac. Mais ce qui fait réellement la différence, c'est l'ambiance familiale. Stéphane, Cynthia, Elliot vous accueillent avec une grande gentillesse et mettent tout en œuvre pour que votre séjour se déroule dans les meilleures conditions. Leur disponibilité et leur souci du détail sont remarquables. Je recommande sans hésiter la Pourvoirie de la Dorée à tous les passionnés de chasse, de pêche et de grands espaces. Une adresse que je garderai précieusement et où j'espére revenir.

Un endroit parfait pour la chasse et la pêche. Nous récoltons notre ours à chaque année et le poisson est au rendez-vous. Nous y retournerons pour la chasse à l’orignal cet automne. Un territoire magnifique, calme et paisible. Les chalets sont superbes, avec tout le nécessaire. Un restaurant sur place, repas délicieux. Stéphane et Cynthia les propriétaires sont des gens formidables. Il y a aussi derrière eux, une excellente équipe pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Nous sommes fidèles à cet endroit et je suis certaine que vous ne regretterez pas votre choix.
