Although the first cabin was installed on the lake as early as 1985, the outfitter obtained its exclusive hunting and fishing rights in 1994. Committed to the sustainability of the resource, Domaine Poutrincourt sponsors the mandatory catch-and-release fishing permit on certain bodies of water within the territory, specifically Lake Suisse. Regarding hunting, the outfitter offers black bear hunting in the spring from stands in baited zones, moose hunting in the fall, as well as small game hunting (ruffed grouse, spruce grouse, and hare).
