The Domaine Poutrincourt outfitter occupies a 188 km² territory holding exclusive hunting and fishing rights since 1994, in zone 28, making it a lightly used territory where resources are abundant. Fishing takes place on the Normandin river and on Lacs Poutrincourt, Buade and Suisse (Lac Suisse renowned as catch-and-release): walleye, northern pike and lake whitefish, from the last week of May to the end of October. On the hunting side, the territory offers black bear in spring (tree stand over baited sites), moose from mid-September to mid-October, and small game (hare, ruffed grouse, spruce grouse).
