Domaine du Lac Parent is a family-run chalet-and-camping outfitter set on the shore of Lac Parent in Senneterre, in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region. Known as an excellent fishing spot, the lake also has several swimming beaches, one of them less than five minutes from the site. There are eleven rustic chalets for rent (sleeping 4 to 8) with fully equipped kitchens, full bathrooms and an outdoor fire pit; some chalets are open year-round. heated ice-fishing huts make for great hard-water fishing, with minnow bait sold on site. Every spring the Domaine hosts the Festival du pêcheur, a fishing tournament with a méchoui feast and pro and amateur categories. A 9-hole golf course is 8 km away, and the town of Senneterre offers bars and restaurants nearby.
