Les Gîtes Dumoine Nature is the outfitter (pourvoirie) of Zec Dumoine, on the shore of Lac aux Sangsues in the Témiscamingue unorganized territory (Abitibi-Témiscamingue). It is the only Zec in Quebec that owns an outfitter offering this kind of lodging: rustic wood gîtes dating from the era of the old private clubs, when wealthy Americans settled along the lake and built camps as luxurious as the inns of the time, some entirely finished in varnished wood.
