At km 125.3, keep left (cross 2 bridges). At km 156.4, turn right toward Lac Maupertuis (kilometre count restarts at 1). Cross a bridge at km 8 (Mistassini River). At km 31, continue straight. At km 34, the outfitter sign (reception post); turn right and follow signs for about 3 km. Wide, well-maintained gravel road shared with logging trucks (dust, off-road log-laden trucks) — drive carefully and wait for the driver's signal before passing. No log transport on weekends.

The centerpieces are lakes Maupertuis and Piraube, teeming with brook trout (speckled trout), lake trout (grey trout), northern pike and burbot — a true fishing paradise on waters of incomparable quality. It is also ideal habitat for moose and bear hunting: an exclusive 212 km² territory split into four managed sectors (salt licks and stands), by bow, crossbow or firearm, plus small-game hunting.
