Chalets Diane is a 5th-generation family outfitter in Laniel, on the shores of crystal-clear Lake Kipawa, which boasts 2,000 km of shoreline and 1,000 islands. Four chalets nestled among the trees sleep 2 to 8 people in single or double bedrooms; each has hot and cold running water, its own dock, a picnic table, a barbecue and a fire pit. Lake Kipawa is rich in walleye, lake trout and northern pike — walleye over 10 lbs are landed every year — and the outfitter holds five exclusive back lakes full of pike plus one smallmouth-bass lake. For hunting, it offers
moose (bow and crossbow from the 3rd week of September, rifle from the 2nd week of October), spring black bear (May 15 to the end of June, over 30 baited sites) and ruffed grouse. In winter, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing and ice skating start right from the cabins. Pontoon boat tours on Lake Kipawa and kilometres of walking trails round out the stay. Lodging is on the European plan (fully equipped self-catered chalets).

Pourvoirie Chalets Diane enjoys a prime location on the shores of Lac Kipawa, a body of water with exceptionally clear waters. The territory offers direct access to more than 2,000 kilometers of shoreline located on Crown lands, encompassing a vast archipelago of 1,000 islands. The surrounding landscape features forested terrain crisscrossed by numerous walking trails and forest access roads, ideal for observing wildlife. The outfitter also provides two specially developed islands with picnic tables and sanitary facilities, perfect for a stopover during a swimming or relaxing day. In addition to Lac Kipawa, the outfitter provides access to five exclusive secondary
lakes renowned for great northern pike fishing, as well as a lake that harbours smallmouth bass. Accommodations are integrated into the forest undergrowth and spaced out to ensure the tranquillity of the setting.

The territory features marshes, small clearings, logging roads, and hiking trails where wildlife is observed in abundance. Furthermore, the outfitter provides access to five exclusive backcountry lakes particularly well-suited for Northern Pike, as well as one lake home to Smallmouth Bass. The aquatic wildlife of Lake Kipawa is exceptionally rich and
diverse. Anglers will find Walleye, with several specimens over 10 pounds caught each year, Lake Trout (touladi) with an average weight of 4 to 5 pounds and catches regularly exceeding 10 pounds, as well as Northern Pike commonly reaching between 10 and 20 pounds. The territory also features Brown Trout and Yellow Perch. Regarding land game, the surrounding forests offer a prime habitat for Moose, Black Bear, and Ruffed Grouse. Moose hunting is practiced with bow, crossbow, or rifle depending on regulatory seasons. For the spring Black Bear hunt, a network of 30 bait sites is set up and checked daily. Ruffed Grouse is also very abundant for small game hunters.
Chalets Diane offers a wide range of recreational activities throughout the seasons. During the summer, fishing takes center stage on Lake Kipawa and its exclusive backcountry lakes, whether for Walleye, Lake Trout, Northern Pike, or Bass. The outfitter rents fiberglass boats equipped with motors as well as pontoons, and provides a private boat launch along with a fish cleaning station featuring electric knives. The "Ready-to-Fish" educational program allows beginners to learn with provided equipment and basic guidance. 4-hour guided pontoon excursions are also offered, including stops at Canal Bay and Picnic Island with its private beach for swimming. Hunting is
another flagship activity. The establishment offers Moose hunting (bow, crossbow, or rifle), spring Black Bear hunting at baited sites monitored by trail cameras, and Ruffed Grouse hunting. A guided hunting service is available, including field positioning, game recovery, and processing, complemented by an on-site game winch.
