The name comes from the Innu-aimun word 'Étamamiou', meaning 'height of land' and 'watershed divide'.

Une expérience authentique en pleine nature... Quelle magnifique expérience à la Pourvoirie HOMAMO ! Stéphane, le propriétaire, passionné par la nature et l’accueil, nous a reçu avec une grande générosité et a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour inoubliable. Son histoire est inspirante : ancien client tombé amoureux du territoire, il partage aujourd’hui son enthousiasme avec ses invités et ça se ressent à chaque instant. L’équipe est chaleureuse et l’organisation sur place nous a permis de découvrir les Monts Valin dans les meilleures conditions. Le chalet était impeccable, propre, confortable et très bien équipé – nous y serions restés volontiers une semaine de plus ! Notre séjour a été ponctué de superbes rencontres animalières et nous avons eu la chance de croiser une magnifique femelle orignal, un moment magique. Ce voyage père-fille restera gravé dans nos mémoires pour toujours : des souvenirs précieux et les beaux petits gibiers ramenés nous permettrons de prolonger le plaisir à la maison ! Nous recommandons vivement cette pourvoirie qui nous a permis de découvrir toute la richesse et la beauté du territoire exceptionnel de la Pourvoirie HOMAMO, avec ses grands espaces sauvages, ses nombreux lacs et la nature préservée des monts Valin. Merci à Stéphane et à toute l’équipe pour ce séjour exceptionnel !

Accueil des plus chaleureux, on est bien installé dans les chalets. Le feu commun en soirée est apprécié. Stéphane est toujours disponible pour informer les pêcheurs. C’est un plaisir garanti et des poissons en profusion.

Magnifique endroit à découvrir pour un voyage de motoneige. Un immense territoire avec un accès rapide à des sentiers forestiers. Aussi possible de rejoindre les pistes fédérées et des champs de neiges populaires des Monts Valin. Nous avons fait plus de 700 km de sentiers différents à partir de notre confortable chalet. Accueil génial et attentionné. Nous étions passé l’été en moto avec un objectif de revenir en hiver. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour.

Un endroit magnifique! Beau grand territoire hors-piste pour notre séjour de motoneige et que dire de l’accueil du propriétaire et de son service de guide! Notre chalet pour 6-8 personnes était parfait et bien équipé! Merci encore! La pêche sur glace était disponible mais nous avons manqué de temps. Ce sera pour une prochaine fois car nous allons revenir c’est certain 🙂
