Pourvoirie Mike's Driftwood is located in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Northwestern Quebec, within hunting Zone 13 (Zone 13 West). The territory extends through the heart of Lake Dasserat and the Dasserat River (3rd Lake – Kanasuta), part of a vast network of rivers and lakes stretching over 100 kilometers. The aquatic environment features depths reaching up to 50 feet, with reefs, submerged structures, fallen trees, marshes, and murky water zones.
The fish species inhabiting these waters are all wild and include walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, lake whitefish, and burbot. Large specimens are frequently caught, such as 4-pound bass, 20-inch walleye,

On land, the habitat is characterized by a mixed forest of hardwoods and conifers, crisscrossed by streams, beaver dams, and small marshy areas. Wildlife is very abundant, including black bear, moose, wolf, coyote, and fox. The territory also hosts small game such as ruffed grouse and snowshoe hare. Zone 13 has ranked first in Quebec for black bear harvests for several years, with a population showing average weights of 175 to 200 pounds, reaching up to 300 or 400 pounds. For moose, bulls typically sport racks from 24 to 30 inches, reaching up to 50 inches. During wilderness excursions, it is common to observe beavers building dams, loons, and eagles soaring above the trees.
