Acquired in 2019 by four Saguenay-born entrepreneurs passionate about hunting, fishing and snowmobiling, the outfitter officially reopened to the public in 2024 after several years of renovations. The territory offers moose hunting, black bear hunting (spring and fall seasons) and small-game hunting (partridge, hare), as well as fishing for northern pike, lake trout (also known locally as 'truite grise'), lake whitefish and brook trout, with experienced
fishing guides available on request. Lodging comes in two formats: the main lodge (built in 2023, nine rooms) on the American plan with all meals included, or the mini-chalets and private cottage (renovated in 2024, sleeping 1 to 8) on the European plan with a full kitchen. In winter, the outfitter also runs off-trail snowmobile circuits through the Monts-Valin.
The story of Pourvoirie La Flèche is one of renewal in the heart of the Monts-Valin and the Pipmuacan Reservoir. In 2019, four seasoned entrepreneurs from the Saguenay region, working in fields such as law, construction, and excavation, acquired this once-flourishing establishment. Driven by a shared passion for fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling, these developers decided to breathe new life into a territory they know personally. Starting in 2020, major modernization and renovation work was undertaken to upgrade all existing infrastructure. The revitalization project reached a major milestone in 2023 with the construction of a new main lodge serving as a
reception building, equipped with nine spacious rooms and a lounge area overlooking the reservoir. In 2024, the estate's small cabins also underwent a complete refurbishment. At the same time, the outfitter diversified its lodging by setting up ready-to-camp units and expanded its winter offering around activities like off-trail snowmobiling. After several years of intensive work, Pourvoirie La Flèche officially reopened its doors to visitors in 2024, continuing the tradition of a site renowned for decades for its trophy northern pike and premium outdoor stays.

Its territory extends around the Pipmuacan Reservoir, within hunting and fishing zone 28. The landscape is characterized by a diverse boreal ecosystem, alternating between dense coniferous forests, open valleys, and numerous bodies of water. The aquatic environments feature weed beds and riparian vegetation zones composed of grasses and tall reeds, which serve as hunting grounds and nurseries for aquatic predators. Aquatic wildlife is particularly well-developed here. The Pipmuacan Reservoir is renowned for its northern pike populations, famous for their size
and fighting spirit. The territory's lakes and rivers also host other sought-after species such as lake trout, brook trout, lake whitefish, and burbot. On land, the preserved environment of the Monts-Valin provides a natural habitat for big and small game. The territory is home to a healthy population of moose and black bears. The forest cover and valleys also shelter small game, primarily ruffed grouse and snowshoe hare.
Pourvoirie La Flèche offers a range of activities centered on sport fishing, hunting, and outdoor recreation throughout the seasons. Fishing takes place mainly from June to October on the Pipmuacan Reservoir and surrounding waters. Anglers come in search of northern pike, lake trout, brook trout, and lake whitefish. Several techniques are used depending on the sector: light casting, heavy casting, trolling, fly fishing, spoon fishing, as well as catch and release.
