It holds nearly 40 fish-rich lakes home to 7 fish species — one of the widest varieties of any single area in Quebec: smallmouth bass, brook trout, lake trout, walleye, northern pike, whitefish and splake (a brook-trout/lake-trout cross). A pioneer of Catch & Release in Quebec, the reserve offers renowned fishing, plus moose hunting (VIP format, only 4 guests per week during the rut), spring
black-bear hunting and small-game hunting (grouse, hare).
